AIR FLOW
Intake:
Outside air enters through filters mounted in the ceiling, then travels through the work area. This type of design does allow for the addition of an Air Make Up unit (AMU), so heating (and/or cooling) are available options. The air travels vertically (down draft) through the booth.

Exhaust: Once the air has traveled the height of the booth, the overspray and particulates are removed by the exhaust filters under the grates that cover the pit. This booth has a pit beneath the booth that serves as an exhaust plenum. Marathon uses standard size intake and exhaust filter media, readily available from most paint and refinishing suppliers.
